Today, the International Moon Day is being celebrated worldwide.This day is observed on the anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, marking 55 years since American astronaut Neil Armstrong made history by stepping on the moon on July 20, 1969.
In 2021, the United Nations General Assembly declared July 20 as International Moon Day.
