German tourist robbed in Lahore receives 500,000 rupees in aid from Punjab Chief Minister

Lahore: On the instructions of the Punjab Chief Minister, the Punjab government has provided 500,000 rupees in aid to a German tourist who was robbed in Lahore.

Punjab Home Secretary Noor Ul Amin Mengal met with the German tourist, Florian Berg, and assured him that all tourists visiting Pakistan are considered guests, and measures are being taken to ensure their security and protection.

The Home Secretary further stated that the police are using modern technology to trace the robbers, and Lahore police will soon apprehend the culprits.

The German tourist expressed his appreciation, saying that Pakistanis are very loving and warm-hearted people.

He praised both the country’s natural beauty and the kindness of its people, stating, “The support I received from the Punjab government and the people is unforgettable.

Pakistan is my favorite country, and I would love to return.”

It is noted that the German tourist was robbed by thieves while camping on the street in Lahore a few days ago.
