Atif Akram Sheikh, the President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), stated that to exit the IMF and increase national exports, we need to move towards industrialization.
A delegation from FPCCI, led by Atif Akram Sheikh, met with the Minister of Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain.
On this occasion, Federal Minister for Industry and Trade Rana Tanveer Hussain stated that the government is making vigorous efforts to provide relief to the public and traders, and is establishing special economic zones for investment. For economic development, exports need to be increased.
Rana Tanveer Hussain mentioned that the government is working to resolve the issues faced by the industry, and economic development can only be achieved by increasing exports.
Atif Akram Sheikh, President of FPCCI, emphasized that to exit the IMF and boost national exports, we need to focus on industrialization.
He added that if relief in electricity tariffs is provided, the $60 billion export target could be achieved.
