In Karachi, a significant development unfolded as Adil Khan, a former member of the Sindh Assembly from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was apprehended by a special anti-terrorism court for the cancellation of his bail in connection with three cases related to the May 9 incident.
The proceedings took place at Karachi Central Jail’s Anti-Terrorism Complex, where the court issued orders for Adil Khan’s arrest, promptly carried out by the police.Earlier, the court had nullified the bail of the accused.
Present at the hearing were Haleem Adil Sheikh, Raja Azhar, and other defendants.
The court adjourned further hearings on the three cases linked to the May 9 events until August 5. These cases are filed at Tipu Sultan and Ferozabad police stations.
