Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to attend OIC special meeting

Islamabad: Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will attend a special OIC meeting in Jeddah.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the OIC is convening a special emergency meeting on August 7 to address the issues related to Palestine and the situation in Iran.

Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will participate in this meeting.

At the special OIC meeting, Ishaq Dar will express Pakistan’s concerns regarding the situation in Palestine to the international community.

The Vice Prime Minister will also hold meetings with counterparts from other participating countries.

The spokesperson added that Pakistan has always been a supporter of resolving the Palestinian issue and will continue to advocate for it on the global stage.

Pakistan seeks peace in Gaza and demands that aid be allowed to reach the people of Gaza.
