Foreign governments should refrain from interfering in Pakistan’s internal affairs: Foreign Office spokesperson

Islamabad: The Foreign Office spokesperson has warned foreign governments against interfering in Pakistan’s internal affairs.

During the weekly briefing at the Foreign Office, spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that other countries should not comment on Pakistan’s internal matters and that foreign governments should refrain from interference.

The spokesperson noted that Pakistan has seen the World Health Organization’s advisory on Monkeypox, and that the Ministry of National Health is the appropriate authority to respond to the advisory.

The spokesperson also mentioned that active diplomatic missions between Pakistan and Afghanistan are ongoing, with swift communication between the two countries.

Pakistan has consistently raised the issue of militant groups and terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan, urging Afghan authorities to take effective action against these groups to halt terrorism in Pakistan.
