Islamabad: The FIA Immigration has arrested a wanted criminal at Islamabad Airport.
According to the FIA, the suspect, Shafqat Abbas, was apprehended upon arriving in Islamabad from Turkey.
The suspect was wanted by the Punjab Police. Shafqat had fled abroad after committing murder in 2020.
A case of murder was registered against him at the Gojra Okara police station, and his name was included on the stop list.
The FIA Immigration Islamabad has handed over the suspect to the Punjab Police.
