Karachi: The Sindh Textbook Board administration has completed the delivery of textbooks for government schools in Sindh at the district and tehsil levels.
Teams are also continuing to monitor the process of book distribution in schools.
Chairman of the Sindh Textbook Board Jamshoro, Abdul Aleem Lashari, stated that under the initiative “Padhay Ga Sindh To Badhe Ga Sindh,” Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah are making vigorous efforts to ensure education for every child and are in constant contact regarding the distribution of free textbooks to all children.
Chairman Abdul Aleem Lashari mentioned that, for the first time in history, the process of distributing textbooks has been completed in a transparent and timely manner.
This year, 4,453,686 sets of textbooks were printed, totaling 24,351,475 books, all of which have been delivered to students on time.
He added that after the completion of the textbook distribution in government schools, Sindh Education Foundation schools, and Karachi Municipal Corporation schools, our teams have started daily visits to the warehouses and schools in Sindh to review the distribution of free textbooks.
This process is ongoing, and wherever there is a need for more books, we are ensuring their delivery.
He emphasized that when the children of Sindh receive education, Sindh will progress and advance further.
