Dania Shah, the widow of Aamir Liaquat, has responded to news about her second marriage, asserting that getting married is not a crime.
Following reports about her second marriage, Dania and her new husband, Hakim Shehzad, recently held a formal ceremony, with videos of the event going viral on social media.
In the videos, Dania is seen as a bride on stage with her husband, and during the wedding ceremony, Dania and Hakim gave an interview to a private TV channel.
Dania shared details about her first meeting with Hakim Shehzad, saying, “I have married; it is not a crime. I have followed a tradition that every woman should, as a woman needs the support of a man. I also needed it. Shehzad proposed to me, and after careful consideration, I agreed to marry him.”
She explained that their first meeting took place when her mother went to get medicine and met Shehzad, leading to their acquaintance. Dania mentioned that she met Shehzad again at a barbecue.
When asked why she married Shehzad, Dania responded, “He is a very good person and possesses a true character.”
