Oxford: Research has revealed that consuming too much cake, crispy chips, and burgers can severely harm the human body in just three weeks.
A study by Oxford University found that foods high in fat, such as these, can be dangerous for the heart, even if a person’s weight does not increase.
In the tests, one group was given foods high in saturated or polyunsaturated fats, while another group was asked to eat healthy fats like those found in oily fish and nuts for 24 days.
At the end of the study, it was observed that neither group’s weight increased, but those who consumed more fats showed significant health deterioration.
Scans revealed an increased risk of heart disease among those eating the high-fat diet.
