Bizarre theft in India: thieves cooked and ate pakoras before robbing house

Noida, Uttar Pradesh: A gang of thieves in the city of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has frightened residents with their unique method of burglary.

According to Indian media, this group of thieves not only breaks into homes to steal valuables but also heads to the kitchen first to cook and eat pakoras before the theft. They also enjoy food from the refrigerator and only after eating and resting do they start their robbery.

In one incident in Sector 25, the thieves cooked pakoras and then escaped with jewelry worth 300,000 Indian rupees.

The media further reports that besides stealing, this gang also chews betel leaves (paan) and spits in the bathrooms of the houses they rob.

The police stated that this gang looted six houses in a single day, following the same modus operandi. A special task force has been formed to capture the gang, and efforts are ongoing to bring them to justice.
