Baloch unity committee’s protest continues on Marine Drive in Gwadar

The Baloch Unity Committee’s protest on Marine Drive in Gwadar continues unabated.

The sit-in, led by Dr. Mah Rang and other leaders of the Unity Committee, is still ongoing, affecting PTCL, mobile phone, and internet services in the area.

Despite a written agreement between the government and the Baloch Unity Committee, protests persist in various cities of Balochistan, and major roads remain blocked.

Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Hamoodur Rahman reported that the government has implemented the agreement, releasing detained Baloch Unity Committee members and issuing a notification from the Interior Ministry to drop the FIRs filed under Section 3 of the MPO (Maintenance of Public Order).

He urged the Baloch Unity Committee to vacate the protest site and remove blockages from roads to restore communication systems.

On the other hand, Dr. Mah Rang Baloch stated that the protest will continue until the cases are resolved and roads are reopened.

He also demanded the release of all detained activists from across Balochistan.
