Dubai: The ICC has released the new rankings for Test players.
According to the ICC’s latest rankings, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson retains the top spot among batters, while England’s Joe Root is in second place.
England’s Harry Brook has climbed four spots to third place.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam has dropped one position to fourth place, while Daryl Mitchell, Steve Smith, and Rohit Sharma have also each dropped one spot to fifth, sixth, and seventh, respectively.
There have been no changes in the top 10 rankings for Test bowlers.
India’s Ravichandran Ashwin remains at the top, while England’s Chris Woakes has moved up four spots to 20th place.
