ASF operation at Islamabad airport: 830 grams of ice recovered

Islamabad: The Airport Security Force (ASF) conducted an operation at Islamabad Airport, recovering 830 grams of ice (crystal meth) from a passenger on a Bahrain-bound flight.

The passenger, Mufakkar Mumtaz, had skillfully hidden the drugs inside the pipes of a trolley bag.

The ASF staff deemed the passenger’s luggage suspicious, and upon inspection, they recovered 830 grams of ice from the trolley bag’s pipes, thwarting the smuggling attempt.

According to ASF, the accused, along with the recovered drugs, was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials for further legal action after initial investigation.
