California: Technology company Apple has introduced the latest edition of its flagship smartphone, the iPhone 16.
Revealed at an event in California, the iPhone 16 is available in some new colors compared to its predecessor.
The phone features an updated dual-camera setup on the back, arranged vertically. This design was last seen on the iPhone 12, introduced in 2020.
The iPhone 16 brings several new hardware changes, including a new A18 chip with a 3-nanometer processor (30% faster than the iPhone 15’s CPU), an action button (introduced in last year’s Pro model), and a new physical camera control button located beneath the power button.
The general design of this new edition is similar to the previous model, featuring a rectangular frame, glass on the back for MagSafe wireless charging, Face ID sensors, and a USB-C charging/data port.
The iPhone 16 will be Apple’s first mainstream phone to use a beta version of Apple Intelligence following an update in October.
