Anti-Terrorism Court grants extended interim bails in Jinnah House arson case

Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has granted an extension to the interim bails of PTI founder’s sisters, Omar Ayub, and other individuals involved in the Jinnah House arson case.

Judge Khalid Arshad presided over the hearing and granted the interim bails until August 6.

The court saw appearances from Omar Ayub, Musarrat Cheema, Jamshed Cheema, Zain Qureshi, and others to fulfill their attendance requirements.

The court has given the police a final deadline to complete their investigation and present their findings by the next hearing.

The police submitted incomplete case records and requested additional time due to ongoing law and order duties, particularly from the 1st to the 10th of Muharram.

The judge questioned the necessity of further delays, given the 13-month duration of the interim bails.

The court directed that any suspects not yet questioned must fully cooperate with the investigation.
