Quetta: Participants of the All Balochistan Ulema and Mashaikh Convention reaffirmed their commitment to playing a role in establishing peace in the country.
The convention was held at the Markhor Auditorium of BUITEMS University, with Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, as the chief guest. Prominent scholars from the province, including Maulana Muhammad Tayyib, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Ropri, Pir Muhammad Fareeduddin, Maulana Muhammad Ismail, Abu Khair Zubair Barelvi, and Allama Shabbir Hussain Maisami, participated. Other attendees included Provincial Minister Sadiq Umrani, Meena Majeed, Abdul Majeed Badini, and the Chief Minister’s Advisor Haji Naseem ur Rehman.
Participants of the convention reiterated their commitment to contributing to peace in the country and agreed on promoting peace and steering Pakistan towards progress.
They also pledged to work for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, stating that the solution to all the country’s problems lies in the Quran and Sunnah.
The attendees called for countering conspiracies against the sanctity of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Companions, agreeing to organize gatherings focusing on the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The convention also emphasized promoting inter-provincial unity and fraternity.
