Akshay Kumar opens up about mental strain from film failures

Mumbai: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has expressed that the continuous failure of his films causes him mental distress.

In an interview, the actor explained that each film is made with great effort and enthusiasm, and when they don’t succeed, it breaks his heart.

He mentioned that while the failure of his films causes him mental discomfort, these situations push him to work harder and improve his skills and dedication.

Akshay Kumar stated that he is not disheartened, as success is not within his control, but he remains motivated to work better in the future.

He also mentioned that his film “Sooryavanshi” was a major hit in 2021. However, subsequent films like “Atrangi Re,” “Bachchhan Paandey,” “Samrat Prithviraj,” “Raksha Bandhan,” “Cuttputlli” (released on OTT), “Ram Setu,” “Selfie,” “OMG 2,” “Mission Raniganj,” “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” and now “Sarpata” have all been failures.
