Mumbai: Actor Kush Shah, who played the role of Goli in the popular Indian TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,’ has announced his departure from the show.
Kush Shah joined ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ as a child star and dedicated 16 years of his life to the show, growing up on-screen.
According to Indian media, Kush Shah, who played the role of Goli, the son of the character of Haathi Bhai, has decided to leave the show.
Kush Shah mentioned that he spent his childhood on the show’s set and received immense love and fame through his role.
He said, “I have many memories associated with this show that I will always cherish, but I can no longer continue with ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ as I need to go abroad for further education.”
The actor thanked the show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi and his fans, bidding farewell to his co-stars and supporters.
Media reports also indicate that the entire cast of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ organized a farewell party for Kush Shah on the set, during which the actor cut a cake.
