Finance Minister decides to appoint advisor for economic and financial reforms

Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has decided to appoint an Advisor for Economic and Financial Reforms.

According to the Finance Division, applications are being invited from interested candidates until September 9, 2024.

The successful candidate will receive a salary equivalent to Special Professional Pay Scale One.

The advisor will be appointed for two years to the Economic and Financial Reforms Unit, with a salary in the range of 1.5 to 2 million rupees in the Special Professional Pay Scale.

Applications must be submitted online via the National Job Portal. A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required for the position.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview based on the established criteria.

The advisor, appointed on a two-year contract, may be eligible for an extension based on performance.
