U.S. airline Delta Airlines has extended its suspension of flights to Israel.

According to global news agencies, Delta Airlines has extended its suspension of flights to Israel until October 31.

Another airline, American Airlines, has decided to suspend all flights to Israel until March 29 next year.

This extension comes amid threats from Iran to attack Israel in retaliation for the killing of Ismail Haniyeh. Both Hamas and Hezbollah have also indicated potential retaliatory actions.

The U.S. and other Western countries have warned of potential airstrikes on Israel from Iran and Hezbollah, advising their citizens to remain vigilant and avoid traveling to sensitive cities, including Lebanon.

It is noted that Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was targeted late last month at a sensitive guesthouse in Tehran while returning from the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected Iranian president.

Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah have blamed Israel for the attack and have threatened retaliation, although Israel has neither confirmed nor denied the accusation.
