Faiz Hameed will be made approver against me: Imran Khan

Rawalpindi: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has claimed that Faiz Hameed will be made an approver against him.

While informally speaking with journalists in Adiala Jail, PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Faiz Hameed’s arrest drama is being staged to take his case to a military court.

He added that he knows all the cases against him are baseless and won’t stand in court. This is all a ploy to involve the military court.

Imran Khan expressed his belief that they would try to make Faiz Hameed an approver against him.

He mentioned that it is being said that Faiz Hameed is the mastermind behind the May 9th incident. “If Faiz gave the order for my abduction on May 9th, then catch him. I didn’t know any other commander; all I knew was that Bajwa told me Faiz was the most capable general.”

He further stated that these fools claim Faiz Hameed told them where to attack. “Our protest was peaceful. When you drag me and abduct me, where else will we protest? Since I haven’t done anything wrong, I have no fear or concern about Faiz Hameed becoming an approver against me.”

Imran Khan also mentioned that they aimed to eliminate terrorism from the country with the help of General Faiz and the Afghan government, a point he had also conveyed to his cabinet. “General Faiz was removed on Nawaz Sharif’s request, and another general was appointed as DG ISI. I tried my best to work with Bajwa, but he stabbed me in the back and brought down my government.”

Imran Khan further claimed that efforts are being made to make his former office boy an approver so that he can be kept in jail along with his wife. “They say a conspiracy occurred on May 9th, but the real conspiracy was the regime change against us. The country has become a banana republic where there is no justice. They have become both judge and jury, making decisions arbitrarily. We are in jails, and we are not being heard.”

The former Prime Minister also mentioned that he was abducted by the Rangers from the High Court. “I was a Prime Minister, so I know how the Rangers operate. If the Hamoodur Rahman Commission report had been implemented, three martial laws wouldn’t have occurred in the country. Today, a fourth undeclared martial law is in place. All this is happening just to take me to a military court.”

He criticized the allegations against Bushra Bibi, calling them shameful, saying that they claimed she used to get information from Faiz Hameed, which is not something that happens in our society. “They should be ashamed of making such remarks about Bushra Bibi. They are scared that if the Chief Justice retires, their election drama will be exposed, so they are trying to get me sentenced before that.”

Imran Khan also noted that they are not implementing the Supreme Court’s decision on reserved seats, which is necessary for a two-thirds majority.

He added that even Khawaja Asif and Muhammad Zubair have admitted that Bajwa did everything for an extension in his tenure. “Was I crazy to order my unarmed people to attack the Corps Commander’s House? If I haven’t done anything wrong, then I have no fear of Faiz becoming an approver against me. All the cases against me will be dismissed whenever they come before the court.”

Imran Khan mentioned that PTI is getting stronger day by day, and more people are joining the party. “On February 8th, this was clearly evident. Despite the leadership being sidelined, our party won.”

During Imran Khan’s conversation, the noise from women in the family corner could be heard, causing him to pause his media talk three times. Due to the disturbance, he provided limited answers to journalists’ questions.

Earlier on Saturday, while speaking to media representatives, Imran Khan said that he is not afraid of General (R) Faiz Hameed’s arrest. “If I were scared, I wouldn’t have called for a judicial commission. It’s not true that Faiz Hameed conspired on May 9th; the conspiracy was actually against PTI.”

Imran Khan said that the first conspiracy was that General (R) Bajwa removed General Faiz on Nawaz Sharif’s request.

The second conspiracy was that, during our government, General (R) Bajwa hired Hussain Haqqani for lobbying for $35,000, and after Hussain Haqqani, Donald Lu came into play, and our government was brought down. “I asked the Chief Justice for an inquiry, but instead of an inquiry, a case was filed against us under the cipher.”
