Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has stated that Kashmir Solidarity Day is a time to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to raise voices for justice and self-determination.
In his message on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized that the global community should not ignore the plight of the Kashmiris and should continue to advocate for their rights and freedom.
He noted that five years ago, the special status of Kashmir was revoked, and there was a deliberate attempt to suppress the voices and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
He pointed out that over the past five years, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have faced numerous hardships and sufferings at the hands of Indian forces.
The region has experienced a heightened sense of insecurity due to Indian actions, and the civilized nations of the world are questioning India’s outrageous actions.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon further stated that India has been involved in human rights violations, arbitrary detentions, and restrictions on freedom of expression in occupied Kashmir.
He concluded that a peaceful and just solution for Kashmir lies solely in the self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
