Kuala Lumpur: Pakistani athletes secured two gold medals and two silver medals at the international Taekwondo Championship held in Malaysia.
According to reports, at the MBW International Taekwondo Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Pakistani martial artists Syed Abu Huraira Shah and Syed Haadi Jaffri won gold medals, while Muhammad Miran and Muhammad Hassan won silver medals.
Muhammad Haadi Jaffri knocked out an Indonesian player to win his gold medal match.
Syed Abu Huraira Shah, hailing from Karachi, defeated a Malaysian player to reach the final and was awarded the gold medal due to a walkover by his opponent in the final.
Muhammad Miran lost to a Malaysian rival in the final, while Muhammad Hassan could not compete in the final due to an injury and earned a silver medal.
