No Disciplinary committee formed nor any action decided against cricketers: PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has strongly denied the circulating news regarding the formation of a disciplinary committee.

The PCB stated that no disciplinary committee has been formed, nor has any decision been made to take action against any cricketer.

According to the PCB, the news about forming a committee and assigning it the task of creating a report is baseless and contrary to the facts.

The PCB also mentioned that the reports about imposing bans or fines on players are fabricated.

Recently, there were reports that the PCB had decided to crack down on cricketers who violated discipline during the T20 World Cup in the USA.

Sources claimed that a committee, including a former captain, senior manager Wahab Riaz, manager Mansoor Rana, and foreign head coach Gary Kirsten, had been formed.

The sources also mentioned that Waqar Younis would be part of this process and that three reports concerning the national team players would be reviewed, one of which was prepared by independent intelligence.

The PCB disciplinary committee was reportedly set to review these reports in detail.
