Lahore: The Consul General of China, Zhao Shirin, inaugurated a 7-day photography exhibition of the city’s historic buildings organized by the Lahore Museum. Over 150 photographs of historic structures are displayed at the event.
According to media, the exhibition features images of more than 150 historic buildings in Lahore.
In his speech, Consul General Zhao Shirin emphasized the critical role of the Lahore Museum in preserving historical heritage.
He described the museum as a custodian of the region’s millennia-old history and praised its educational and cultural activities.
Director of Lahore Museum, Nabeela Irfan, told the media that the efforts of the museum’s administration, especially the museum educators, are commendable for their dedication to promoting heritage.
She highlighted that the Lahore Museum team is playing a significant role in advancing the region’s history and culture.
