Former national cricket team captain Moin Khan has said that he is always available to serve Pakistan cricket.
He mentioned that he first took a position in the PCB in 2013, but now it doesn’t seem appropriate to take a position while Azam Khan is playing.
Speaking to the media in Karachi, Moin Khan stated that he will comment on Waqar Younis’s announcement later.
He also mentioned that the cricket board is waiting for a doctor for surgery, which will happen once the doctor arrives at the PCB.
Moin Khan expressed disappointment over the team’s World Cup preparations and performance, saying that there was no visible planning.
He emphasized that a system brings in and lets go of players, and when the system breaks down, problems arise.
He also stressed the importance of supporting new players and ensuring they are honorably retired, similar to how it’s done in India.
He noted that when internal team issues are leaked, they are discussed worldwide, and that dressing room conversations, whether from the coach or captain, should not be disclosed.
Moin Khan also stated that India is a big team and should participate in the Champions Trophy.
He mentioned that it would be unfair if India does not join the Champions Trophy after the Asia Cup.
