Asian under-18 Volleyball Championship: China defeats Pakistan in semifinal

In a thrilling and nerve-wracking semifinal match of the Asian Under-18 Volleyball Championship, Pakistan’s U18 team was defeated by China.

The semifinal, held in Bahrain, was an intense battle where the lead shifted between the two teams.

China won the first set, Pakistan took the second, and China gained an advantage in the third. In the fourth set, Pakistan staged a comeback from a 16-21 deficit to equalize the match.

However, in the decisive set, China managed to secure the victory.

The final scores were China 23-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, and 8-15.

Pakistan’s standout players included Abu Bakar, Muhammad Anas, and Muhammad Yahya.

Following their loss in the semifinal, Pakistan’s team will now compete for the third position.

By making it to the top four in the Asian Under-18 Volleyball Championship, Pakistan has also qualified for the World Under-19 Volleyball Championship next year, marking their first qualification for this event.
