Sargodha: Faisal Karim Kundi, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has accused Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of corruption and demanded his resignation.
Speaking to journalists at Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab leader Nadeem Afzal Chan’s residence, Governor Kundi stated that the PTI ministers have accused Ali Amin Gandapur of corruption.
He also mentioned that the PTI ministers have issued a charge sheet against him.
Kundi asserted that he had previously claimed that there were fixed rates for transfers and postings in the province.
Now, according to him, even PTI ministers are acknowledging that Ali Amin is involved in corruption, and the provincial minister has shown a lack of confidence in him in the presence of the information advisor.
He urged Ali Amin Gandapur to demonstrate moral integrity and resign.
Kundi remarked that political alliances form and break, and while Maulana Fazlur Rehman was once an ally, PTI members used to claim that Maulana formed alliances based on calls or inducements.
He questioned if PTI members now believe Maulana is forming alliances based on such calls or inducements.
He also asked if PTI had apologized to Maulana for any verbal abuse and whether the PTI provincial president would apologize to Maulana. Kundi criticized PTI for allegedly misleading Maulana.
Regarding PPP, he noted that the party is facing challenges in Punjab and KP, but they plan to reactivate the party in both regions, with the next KP Chief Minister being a loyal PPP member.
