A co-pilot of the British airline EasyJet became unconscious during a flight, prompting a red alert.
According to foreign media, on July 27, an incident occurred on a flight from London’s Luton Airport to Lisbon, Portugal, that was unexpected.
The plane had 193 passengers on board, and just before landing in Portugal, the co-pilot suddenly fell ill and became unconscious.
Reports indicate that the expert crew on the plane immediately provided first aid to the co-pilot, and upon landing, he was taken to Santa Maria Hospital for treatment.
The airline confirmed the co-pilot’s condition and stated that in compliance with basic principles, there are always two pilots on commercial flights.
According to media reports, there were no issues with the plane’s landing, and all passengers safely reached their destination.
