Google Chrome has introduced three new AI-based features for its desktop version.According to Google, these features include:
1. Google Lens Update: The Google Lens tool in Chrome has been updated to support “Search with a Circle” functionality. When users click the Lens icon and select an item on a web page, details about that item will be displayed in a side panel.
Users can use multi-search to find information about colors, brands, and other details, and get answers to their questions via Google Gemini.
2. Tab Compare: This feature will consolidate multiple tabs into a single window, using AI to provide brief descriptions of each item.
This is particularly useful for online shopping, allowing users to view prices and other details of products from different companies in one place.
3. Enhanced Browser History Search: Users will be able to search for web pages in their browser history more easily with the help of AI technology.
These features will first be available to users in the United States in the coming weeks. Google has not yet specified when they will be rolled out in other countries.
