The funeral prayer of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was held in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
The funeral prayer was led by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
Thousands of people, including women, attended the funeral. The participants were holding Palestinian flags.
Ismail Haniyeh will be buried in Doha, Qatar, on Friday.
The leader of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas was martyred in an Israeli attack yesterday.
Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Iranian president.
