Islamabad: According to media, the Accountability Court, presided over by Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich, has issued an order giving the lawyers of the PTI founder a final opportunity to cross-examine in the £190 million case on July 30.
The court order stated that the hearing of the case took place at 10:40 AM on July 26, with NAB witnesses present, but no representative from the PTI founder’s side was there, leading to a postponement until 11:00 AM
The court order further mentioned that the case was resumed at 11:15 AM, during which the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were brought in, and Advocate Khalid Yousaf appeared, stating that senior lawyers were on their way.
The court order emphasized that this is the final chance for the lawyers of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi to complete their cross-examination on July 30, while the court has also bound prosecution witnesses Umair Ahmed and Mian Umar Nadeem to record their statements.
