Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar’s Mumbai bungalow sold for INR 172 crore

According to Indian media reports, Dilip Kumar had purchased this luxurious property in 1953 under the name Abdul Latif. In 1966, after marrying Saira Banu, Dilip Kumar reportedly left the bungalow at Pali Hill and moved to Saira Banu’s house.

The redevelopment agreement for Dilip Kumar’s bungalow was finalized between the actor and Usher Group in 2016, under which the bungalow was to be demolished and a luxury residential building was to be constructed in its place.

The redevelopment project for the bungalow was later launched under the name “The Legend” by the Usher Group in 2023.

The triplex apartment spans the ninth, tenth, and eleventh floors of the building, covering an area of 9,527 square feet.

The luxurious apartment includes a residential area and a museum on the tenth and eleventh floors in memory of Dilip Kumar.

According to Indian media, the lavish property was sold at a rate of INR 1.62 lakh per square foot.

The sale included a stamp duty of INR 9.3 crore and a registration fee of INR 30,000.

The luxurious complex was purchased by a company named Epco Infratech Private Limited, marking the highest price ever paid for any property in the Bandra area.
