Cricketers Mohammad Nabi and Rahmanullah Gurbaz have confirmed that they will come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025, following the Afghanistan Cricket Board’s (ACB) endorsement.
Recently, during the International Cricket Council (ICC) annual meeting, Afghanistan Cricket Board Chairman Wais Ahmad and Nasib Khan met with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and agreed to send their team to Pakistan.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board, along with Mohammad Nabi and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, have rejected rumors circulating on social media, affirming their participation in the Champions Trophy 2025 hosted by Pakistan.
Former Afghan captain Mohammad Nabi urged fans to disregard false news on social media, emphasizing that these rumors have no basis in reality.
Previously, unverified social media accounts had spread news suggesting that, like India, the Afghan team might avoid traveling to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 due to security concerns.
