FIA arrests three for issuing Pakistani passports to Afghan nationals

Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three suspects involved in issuing Pakistani passports to Afghan nationals.

According to Express News, the FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Islamabad conducted a major operation in Peshawar, arresting three suspects identified as Rehmatullah, Tariq Javed, and Abu Bakr.

An FIA spokesperson stated that the suspects were involved in providing Pakistani passports to Afghan nationals in exchange for large sums of money.

The FIA revealed that the arrested individuals are part of a smuggling network, and investigations have commenced. Efforts are ongoing to arrest additional members of the network.
