Actress Amna Khan’s mother and senior actress Fariha Jabeen stated that despite financial difficulties, she had resolved not to send Amna to a small school, as education is very important.
Recently, Fariha Jabeen appeared with her daughter Amna Khan on a private TV morning show, where she discussed her personal life, career, and raising her daughter as a single mother.
In response to a question, Fariha mentioned that everyone needs a companion at a certain age because you end up alone after your children get married.
She explained that education is essential in today’s world. Since her own education was limited, she wanted her daughter to achieve what she could not.
Amna Khan is well-educated and speaks fluent English, which has led to her being cast in good roles.
Fariha noted that when asked if she would play a certain role, her response was often about the payment because she needed to pay her daughter’s school fees.
Fariha further revealed that due to financial constraints, Amna’s school fees were often paid late. When the car broke down, she would drop Amna off by rickshaw, instructing her to quickly get off and go to school without being seen.
On the topic of her mother’s second marriage, Amna Khan said she was very sensitive and never asked her mother to remarry.
At the age of eight, she became so angry upon seeing a photo of her mother with a makeup artist that she tore the picture apart, even though the person was like a sibling to her.
However, she acknowledged that her mother did not just love her previous husband but was deeply in love, a passion that led her to abandon love altogether afterward.
