Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Aalia Neelum, has taken notice of additional expenses.
According to the Registrar of Lahore High Court, Chief Justice Aalia Neelum’s actions have saved the national exchequer one billion rupees.
The Registrar stated that the notification for purchasing additional video link equipment for subordinate courts in Punjab has been withdrawn, as session judges in Punjab already have video link systems.
The Registrar also mentioned that hearings related to video links are ongoing in all subordinate courts in Punjab, and judges in these courts already have laptops and Wi-Fi facilities. Therefore, there is no need to purchase new video link equipment.
