New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani, one of Asia’s richest individuals, is known for his family’s lavish wedding celebrations, which attract global attention with stars from Hollywood and Bollywood in attendance.
According to Indian media, various events of Mukesh Ambani’s younger son’s wedding spanned over seven months, featuring celebrities as well as national and international heads of state.
It is estimated that the wedding of Anant Ambani cost around 50 billion rupees. During the same period, Mukesh Ambani’s wealth increased by 250 billion rupees.
A Bloomberg report revealed that Mukesh Ambani’s assets grew from $11.8 billion to $12.1 billion, making him the 11th richest person in the world.
The increase in Mukesh Ambani’s wealth is attributed to a more than 6% rise in the value of his shares over the past month while he was occupied with his son’s wedding.
