Asim Khan wins Jones Creek Open Squash Championship, secures 10th PSA title

Pakistan’s Asim Khan has won the Jones Creek Open Squash Championship held in the U.S.In the $12,000 prize event’s final, Asim Khan defeated his compatriot Aashiq Irfan 3-1 to claim victory.

The final of the Jones Creek Open, held in Georgia, USA, was an all-Pakistan affair.

World No. 73 and Pakistan’s top player, Asim Khan, made a comeback after losing the first game to secure success against Aashiq Irfan.

Second-seed Asim’s winning score against third-seed Aashiq was 11-7, 7-11, 4-11, and 4-11.

This victory marks Asim Khan’s third PSA title of the year and his 10th career title.

Earlier in 2024, Asim won the Wildcard Challenger in Washington and the Squash Inspire Challenger Tournament in March.
