According to Indian media, the actress, in an interview with the media, said that she wore prescription lenses for an event on July 17, after which she felt pain and irritation in her eyes.
The actress mentioned that she had committed to attending the event, so it was necessary for her to go. She wore sunglasses throughout the event to protect her eyes from the sun.
The event’s management helped her during this time because at one point, she couldn’t see at all.
She continued by saying that immediately after the event, she went to the hospital to consult a doctor, who informed her that her cornea (the natural lens of the eye) was damaged.
Doctors have put bandages on both of the actress’s eyes, and her treatment is ongoing.
According to the doctors, it will take 4 to 5 days for the actress’s eyes to heal.
