Federal Minister Atta Tarar accuses PTI of involvement in Bannu peace march incident

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar has stated that the PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) is involved in the Bannu peace march incident.

In a press conference in Islamabad, Atta Tarar said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party is rooted in violence and that they are always in search of bloodshed.

He alleged that they kill their own people and then blame the security forces, calling them not a political party but a terrorist group, referring to them as Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (TTP-PTI).

He mentioned that eight soldiers were martyred in the attack on Bannu Cantt and claimed that their aim was to pin the blame for civilian deaths on the military.

He said that PTI members participated in the peace march organized by traders in Bannu and fired at the site of the attack on the cantonment.

Armed groups from PTI joined in, attempting to incite riots, resulting in one person’s death and 22 injuries.

The Information Minister also denied that Imran Khan is being held in a death row cell, stating that the Sharif family had been kept in painful cells, whereas Imran Khan is housed in presidential suites at Adiala Jail, with access to a gym, kitchen, walking gallery, and luxurious meals.

He added that the Pakistani consulate attack in Germany is being investigated with the help of videos to identify any Pakistani citizens involved.

Their identification cards will be blocked, and their passports will be canceled, with severe actions taken against them. If political elements are involved, Imran Khan will not be able to protect them.
