Bungee jumping from car sets Guinness World Record

Paris: A professional stunt driver has set a Guinness World Record by performing a bungee jump from a car while seated inside it.

Nissan France chose professional stuntman and race driver Laurent Lasquaud for this record attempt, held in the Paris business district.

The car, secured by eight bungee cords, was dropped from a height of 213 feet and 3 inches (the target set by Guinness World Records) using a crane.

Nissan’s Marketing Director, Jérôme Bigot, stated that after showcasing the Qashqai e-Power in several TV commercials, this stunt was a logical step.
