Islamabad: The soft launch of the International Defense Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS 2024 was held at the Marriott Hotel Islamabad, where foreign diplomats shared their feedback.
During the event, Italian Ambassador Marlena Armelin expressed anticipation for the upcoming exhibition in November, noting that Italian companies in the defense sector will participate in the event.
The Malaysian High Commissioner conveyed congratulations from his government to the government of Pakistan, highlighting that the IDEAS defense exhibition has been a significant and noteworthy journey.
Iraqi Brigadier General Masoud stated that IDEAS 2024 is of great importance to the region, and they are prepared for defense cooperation with their Muslim and brotherly country, Pakistan.
Sri Lankan Brigadier Commander Silva remarked on the brotherly relations with Pakistan, appreciating Pakistan’s unconditional support during times of need.
He mentioned that the exhibition will serve as a platform for international partners to promote their defense production.
Thai Colonel Thanai praised Pakistan’s experience in counter-terrorism operations and defense production, stating that the exhibition will bring peace to all participating countries.
