7 Dead in Stampede at concert in stadium

Congo: In the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, a stampede occurred during a concert by the country’s famous singer, Mike Kalumbayi, at a stadium.

This is the same stadium where 11 people were killed in a stampede during a football match.

According to international news agencies, over 30,000 fans were present to see Mike Kalumbayi perform.

Crowds gathered at the stadium’s entrance and exit gates.

During the concert, a surge in the crowd caused dozens of fans to fall and be trampled, leading to a stampede that the police could not control.

Many injured fans were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

It has been confirmed that at least 7 people have died as a result of the stampede, with dozens more injured and admitted to intensive care units. The death toll may rise.

The concert organizers reported that more than 30,000 people attended the music event, while the stadium has a seating capacity of 80,000.
