According to a CTD report received by Geo News, 563 individuals have been either killed or injured in terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year.
Among them, the highest number of casualties was among police personnel, with 76 killed and 113 injured.
The report details that 65 civilians were killed and 98 injured, while 39 forces personnel were killed and 87 injured. Additionally, 29 FC personnel were killed and 41 injured.
In Dera Ismail Khan, terrorists killed 7 law enforcement officers and injured 2.
This year, terrorists have also killed 4 politicians and injured 2 others in Bajaur and North Waziristan.
The CTD report indicates that Dera Ismail Khan saw the highest number of police casualties, with 23 killed and 23 injured.
In Bannu, 12 police officers were killed and 12 injured, while in Bajaur, 11 officers were killed and 32 injured.
In Peshawar, terrorists killed 11 police officers and injured 11.
