Karachi: It has been revealed that 36 female college teachers in Sindh have been absent for the past 10 years.
Sources indicate that these 36 teachers in the Sindh Education Department have been absent for the last seven to ten years.
Despite being given multiple opportunities to join their positions, they did not respond, leading the Education Department to initiate action against them.
According to sources, their salaries have been suspended, and they are being given a final chance to report to their offices.
Advertisements are being published in newspapers to provide these women with a last opportunity.
The Sindh Education Department has stated that the female teachers must contact their department soon, or they will be dismissed from their jobs.
The majority of the absent teachers are associated with colleges in Karachi.
